5 All Natural Beauty Products You Can Find in Your Home
There are millions of products, procedures and surgical operations cropping up by the minute, promising maintenance of one’s youth and enhancement of beauty. A majority of these not only put a dent in one’s credit cards but also contain ingredients and chemicals which do more harm than good to the customer.
A great solution (or five) to these problems can be found in your fridge. Filipinobeauty takes a leaf from the books of natural skin care products and organic skin care products and urges you to be earth friendly and beautiful without filing for bankruptcy:
1. Calamansi (citrus microcarpo)
Benefits: The Calamansi is a great exfoliant and natural skin whitener. It sloughs of dead skin cells thereby lightening the skin in the process.
Application: The Calamansi is best applied on your face and underarm. Squeeze the juice out of the fruit into a container. Dip your fingertips in the juice lightly, applying a thin layer all over your (clean) face or underarm.
2. Egg White
Benefits: Egg white protein absorbs the unwanted oil on your skin and noticeably tightens pores after application. It is also a great anti-aging remedy.
Application: It is best used on those suffering from oily skin. Beat it until its texture becomes frothy. Using a cotton ball dipped with egg white, apply a thin layer on your face.
3. Honey
Benefits: Honey is an excellent moisturizer. It rehydrates and nourishes the skin.
Application: Applied on your face and body. Pour a quarter of honey to your bath and soak in it.
4. Avocado
Benefits: Avocado is also another example of an exceptional moisturizer.
Application: Mash the avocado and spread unto your face and neck gently.
(Bonus: It is also a good remedy for tired eyes. Slice the avocado in a crescent shape and put it over your eyes for at least twenty minutes.)
5. Milk
Benefits: Cleopatra is popularly known for having milk and honey baths to keep her body soft and smooth. The acid in the milk softens damaged and cracked skin.
Application: It is great for soothing and softening poor aching feet.
Warm milk in the microwave for a minute. Then soak feet for at least 10 minutes.

Vitamin A is amazing for your skin and lips and lots of products are now using retinol ( a pure form of vitamin A) in their skin care and lip care products.
